Shorstein honored for adoption law skills

   Jacksonville attorney Michael Shorstein has been honored with the Congressional Angels in adoption award from the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute.
   Shorstein was nominated for the award by U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla.
Shorstein is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and is considered a national expert on adoption law.

   The Angels in Adoption program was created in 1999 to raise awareness about the adoption process.
